When you first log in to Urhere, one of the first things you’ll be asked is what you want to call your business on the schedule.
This is usually your business name. It helps identify your account and is used as the default name in parts of the platform during setup.
You’ll also be asked where your business is located. This matters because Urhere uses your location settings for things like time zone handling and clock-in setup. If your team will be clocking in with GPS or geofencing getting these right matters.
You will also be which type of business you operate and what areas you use in your business (areas are the parts of the business you roster people in).
For example, a cafe might use areas like Front of House, Kitchen, and Prep. A retail business might use Shop Floor, Stockroom, and Admin.
To set up your business:
Enter the name you want to use for your business
Add your main business location
Check that the location details are correct
Decide if you want to use areas
Import your employees from Xero or add them manually.
Continue through the rest of the setup flow
If you are not sure about areas yet, that is fine. You can still continue setup and come back to them later in the settings button at the top of your schedule.
