Manage clock-in settings by location

Choose how staff clock in at each location so time and attendance works the way your business operates.

Each location in Urhere can have its own clock-in settings.

This is useful if one location uses GPS and geofencing, while another uses QR or a tablet kiosk.

To review or update these settings, go to that location’s Schedule & Shift Settings.

From there, you can decide how staff should clock in and what rules apply at that site.

The settings worth checking include:

  • whether GPS clock-in is enabled

  • whether geofencing is enabled

  • whether staff can clock in without being rostered

  • whether kiosk photo capture is enabled

  • any break settings linked to clock-in behaviour

This matters even more in multi-location businesses, because different sites often work differently.

For example, one location may want strict GPS and geofence rules, while another may use a tablet on-site for all clock-ins.

Checking these settings per location helps keep worked time accurate and avoids confusion for staff.

Once this is set up, each location can handle clock-ins in the way that suits that site best.
