Why can’t I approve a timesheet?

Identify and resolve common issues preventing timesheet approval. If you’re unable to approve a timesheet, it’s usually due to permissions, payroll status, or missing information.

Common reasons you can't approve a timesheet

Timesheet is already approved - Approved timesheets cannot be approved again.


Timesheet has been exported or locked - Once a timesheet has been exported to payroll, further changes will not be able to be made.


Missing required information
The timesheet may contain incomplete details, such as missing clock-in/out times, incomplete breaks or unassigned pay details

Complete any missing information before approving.


If the issue continues

If you still can't approve the timesheets, try to refresh the page. Ensure changes are saved prior to refreshing.
