Assigning training

Allocate training to employees based on their role and the area they are rostered in. Learn how training affects your rostering, employees' shift claims and swapping.

What is training in Urhere?

Training in Urhere refers to the requirements you set for your employees. This training is usually specific to their role and will affect the areas they are eligible to work in on your roster.

Training can also be used to control Shift Offering and Shift Swapping.

For example, if you attach a Food Handler training to your Kitchen area, only employees with that training assigned will be eligible to work in your Kitchen. This also means only eligible employees will be able to claim offered shifts or swap shifts in that area.

Training may include licenses, certifications, education qualifications or any other parameters for an employee to carry out their duties. Training ensures your employees have the knowledge and skills they need to perform their role effectively and helps you monitor compliance.


Add training into Urhere

  1. Navigate to the Employees tab

  2. Select the Training Types

  3. Select Create

  4. Enter the Training name and description

  5. Select the checkbox for each area the training is applicable

  6. Select Create to proceed


Allocate training to an employee

  1. Navigate to Employees page

  2. Select the employee you want to assign training

  3. Select Training from the employee's work profile.

  4. Select the checkbox for which training you want to assign to the employee

  5. Select Save Changes to proceed
