You can request onboarding information from an employee directly through Urhere. This allows the employee to complete their details, sign documents, and upload any requested documents as part of the onboarding process.
Use this when you need to:
Collect employee details
Send documents for the employee to review and sign
Request documents from the employee
Complete the employee’s onboarding before they start work
Once the request is sent, the employee can complete the required steps from their side. You can then review the submitted information and documents in Urhere.
Note: This document refers to adding a new employee and requesting their personal, banking, superannuation and tax details. If you would like to add an employee without entering their details, use the Quick Add option, see article - Quick add an employee manually | Urhere Help Center
Requesting a new employee’s details during onboarding
You can request a new employee’s details during the onboarding process. This sends the employee an email so they can provide their personal, bank, tax and super details in Urhere.
You can also send documents for the employee to sign and request documents they need to upload, such as licences, certificates or other required paperwork.
Add the employee
Select Add Employee.
Select Onboard Employee.
Enter the employee’s name and email address.
Select the employee’s primary location.
Request employee details
Use the available toggles to choose what information you want the employee to provide.
Turn on the toggle to request the employee’s personal details.
Turn on the toggle to request the employee’s bank, tax and super details.
Add documents to sign or request documents
You can attach linked documents for the employee to review or sign. You can also request documents from the employee.
For example, you may need to send an employment contract for signing and request a copy of the employee’s RSA.
Once the onboarding request is sent, the employee will receive an email asking them to complete the required details, sign any attached documents, and upload any requested documents.
You can also set certain documents to be automatically included when onboarding new employees.

Enter employment details
Enter the employee’s employment details, including any required role, location, employment type or start date information.
Attach training
Attach any applicable training requirements to the employee.
Set up salary details
Set up the employee’s salary or pay details.
Set system access
Select the employee’s system access level.
You can choose whether the employee should be set up as a:
General employee
Manager
Administrator
You can also choose whether to invite the employee to use the Urhere app.
