Deleting, deactivating and reactiving an employee

Removing an employee as an active user from Urhere means they can no longer be rostered or clock in, however historical data will remain in the system. If a user is no longer an employee of your business, you can deactivate them in Urhere.

What to check before deactivating an employee:

  • Any outstanding timesheets are reviewed and approved. We recommend removing an employee from Urhere after their last pay cycle

  • The employee is no longer assigned to future shift. If they are still rostered, remove or update those shifts first.

Deactivate an employee

  1. Go to Employees

  2. Select the employee you want to deactivate. This will open their profile

  3. Select 'Delete Employee'

  4. Find the option to Deactivate employee

  5. Confirm the deletion of the employee

If needed, you can reactivate the employee later from their profile.

Reactivating an employee

  1. Go to Employees

  2. Select Inactive

All of your inactive employees will appear.

  3. Find the employee you wish to reactivate and click Make Active to proceed

Once this is done, your employee list will stay clean and only show active staff for rostering and day-to-day use.
