Once your locations are set up, the next step is making sure the right employees are linked to the right locations.
This is important if your business operates across multiple locations and not every employee works everywhere.
You can import and connect more than one Payroll organization to Urhere. If you have more than one Payroll organization connected, you will be asked which organization to import employees from.
Assign your employees to the new location
1. Open the employee's Profile and navigate to the Locations section
2. Select Add Location to assign the employee to the additional location
A wizard will guide you through setting the employee's Employment, Payroll and Salary details for the new location. When they work in this location, these settings will be used.
Employment details may be different from the home location that the employee works in. You can fill these in if required.
Employee payroll for the new location
The employee may be linked to an existing employee profile in the same or in a different payroll organization. This option will display if you connect more than one payroll organization to Urhere.
Setting salary details for the new location
You will need to setup salary details for the employee when they work in the new location.
That's it! The employee will now belong to multiple locations.
The employee will also display on the roster for both locations.
This helps keep the roster cleaner and reduces mistakes when creating shifts.
It also makes it easier to:
- Roster the right people in the right place
- Manage worked time by location
- Keep payroll and reporting more accurate across the business
If an employee works across more than one location, make sure they are set up accordingly.
If they only ever work at one location, keep their setup limited to that location.
Once this is in place, you can start building rosters across multiple locations with more confidence.
