How employees clock in and out

Understand how staff record the time they actually worked once shifts have been published.

Once shifts are published, employees can use Urhere to clock in and out for work.

This is how worked time is captured for timesheets.

Depending on how your business is set up, employees may clock in and out using one of 3 different methods - GPS (with pr without geofencing enabled), scanning QR code or kiosk.

The method available to them depends on your settings and you can use more than one clock-in method if you wish.

You can find your Check-in methods at the top of the Schedule under Settings

If you have more than one location, each location will have their own check-in settings.

Before going live, it is a good idea to test clocking in and out yourself so you can see what the employee experience looks like and make sure everything is working as expected.

When an employee clocks in, Urhere records the actual time worked against their scheduled shift. Once they clock out the time worked can be reviewed in timesheets. Urhere timesheets are tamper proof and calculate server side. Even after the shift times have been updated, you'll always see the actual check-in and out times for auditing purposes.

Once employees have started clocking in and out, the next step is reviewing and approving their timesheets.
