Create a pay template
Go to Employee
Select Pay Templates
Select Add Template
Enter a name for the template
Select the calculation type, Dollar Amount for a fixed rate or Multiplier which is used for overtime, weekend rates etc.
If selecting a multiplier you will also need to insert the base rate.
Select Create template to proceed
Assigning a pay template to an employee
Go to Employees
Select an employee
Select Pay Rates
Select Customer pay rate
Use the dropdown to select a template
This will automatically calculate the employees rates using the base rate you have set.
Select Save Changes to proceed
You may be asked if you would like to recalculate the employees pay rate. This function will update any timesheets which have not been approved from the date selected. You may wish to do this if you originally had an incorrect pay rate set or an employee has a pay adjustment.
