What Urhere is and how it works

Urhere is used to manage staff, rosters, worked time, pay calculations and payroll-ready timesheets all straight into your payroll system.

Most businesses use Urhere to:

  • Add employees

  • Create rosters and publish shifts

  • Staff clock in and out

  • Review timesheets before payroll

  • Send timesheets to payroll automatically

When you first start using Urhere, the typical setup looks like this:

  1. Set up your business

  2. Add your location

  3. Set up areas (if you need them)

  4. Add or import employees

  5. Review settings

  6. Create and publish shifts

  7. Employees clock in and out

  8. Review and approve timesheets

Locations, areas, shifts and timesheets

A location is a place your team works from.

An area is a part of that location that you roster into, like Kitchen, Bar, Front of House, Warehouse, or Retail Floor.

A shift is time you schedule for an employee to work.

A timesheet is the time they actually worked, which you review and approve later.
